DAY 1
Dehradun to Pantwari
- Drive from Dehradun to Pantwari: Start your journey early from Dehradun to Pantwari, which is the starting point of the Nag Tibba trek. The drive typically takes around 3-4 hours depending on road conditions and traffic.
- Trek from Pantwari to Nag Tibba Base Camp: After reaching Pantwari, begin your trek to Nag Tibba Base Camp. The trekking distance from Pantwari to Nag Tibba Base Camp is approximately 6 kilometers. This part of the trek usually takes around 4-5 hours, depending on your pace and the trail conditions.
- Camp at Nag Tibba Base Camp: Set up your camp at the Nag Tibba Base Camp, where you'll spend the night. Enjoy the serene surroundings and prepare for the next day's trek to Nag Tibba summit.
Day 2
Trek from Nag Tibba Base Camp to Nag Tibba Summit
- Trek from Nag Tibba Base Camp to Nag Tibba Summit: Early in the morning, start your trek from Nag Tibba Base Camp to Nag Tibba Summit. The distance to the summit is around 3 kilometers, and it usually takes about 2-3 hours to reach the top, depending on the trail and your pace.
- Explore and Enjoy: Spend some time at the summit enjoying the panoramic views of the Himalayas, including peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and Gangotri.
- Descend to Pantwari: After enjoying the summit, begin your descent back to Pantwari. Descending usually takes less time than ascending, about 2-2.5 hours.
- Return to Dehradun: Once you reach Pantwari, drive back to Dehradun. The drive from Pantwari to Dehradun typically takes 3-4 hours.
